Some Challenges

Before entering to the University and after leaving the secondary education I thought that I would not go back to study English, but when I heard that in the University I would have to have English lessons again I thought "No, please! 4 years were enough!". But well, it was not so awful.

Some things that I can say about my experience having English lessons at the University are that the lessons helped me a lot to talk with another persons (when the teachers made us to interact with our classmates), also the leassons helped me to learn new words and expressions in English, and the teachers also helped me a lot, when I had questions.

About the blogs, first, I am happy that they are over, and it is not because I did not like this kind of "classes" but sometimes I had not many things that write about the different topics that we had to write, but well, I have to admit that in some topics I had a lot of to write about.

I don't know if I really want to have more English lessons, I know that in my career (and well, in all careers) the English is necessary, but at the moment I do not have thought follow studying it, and I know that I have a lot to perfect on my English.

Generally out of class I use the English to listen songs, trying to read some phrases written in English or playing some games, the true is that I prefer the things written in my language, but well, someday I will have to study English again.

Some changes

Hello, today I'm going to talk you about some changes that I think that could be made in my career.

Well, first I can begin talking about the subjects that I have to study, in general I think that almost all the subjects are well included in the program, but I think that some like "Mechanics" (I really don't like physics) a first year subject, is not very very important in my career and the same with "Electromagnetism", but well, maybe in some years I would think different. At the moment I don't have more complaints with another subjects.

With regard to the workload I think that sometimes I have many things to do in the week and sometimes I don't have many to do so I don't have many to complain about, and with regard to the length of studies, maybe eleven semesters are a lot or I think so, but I know that there are many things that the Pharmaceutical Chemists have to learn and maybe in less than ten or eleven semesters could not be learned.

The buildings and infrastructure are not bad, I just would like that would have more spaces where we could eat or simply sit down to rest (another than the grass).

Well, I don't have many things to talk about the changes that I would like so it is all, I like my career.

My opinion

Hi people, today I'm going to answer some questions about diverse topics.

1. What is your opinion about having an exotic pet at home?
In my opinion in general having a pet at home is a very good way to be happy, a pet is a friend that make the life better, and about an exotic pet I don't know if it change, although have a snake at home is very different that have a dog or a cat, but well, a pet is a pet.

What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana and other drugs?
Well, all people know that drugs are not well, they can damage you if you abuse of them, and I also think so, maybe test some is not bad, but there are some persons that not just test they, but that they become addicts.

What is your opinion about climate change?
This is a very serious topic, this is happen and I think that we are not doing so much to improve it, and I don't know if when we be aware of it we will can change the damage that caused the climate change.

What is your opinion about the legalization of abortion in the 3 cases?
In my opinion the woman have total control over her body, and the 3 cases are not the exception, I think that no one woman would wish bring a child into the world if she was abused, or if she can't care or feed the child or much less try to bring a child that maybe could not born. 

Cartoons, animes and TV series

Seven Deadly Sins, manga's page

When I was child I saw a lot of cartoons and TV series, even animes, but at that time I didn't know that the anime was anime, I called it like cartoons. I like a lot of cartoons, TV series and animes, but at the moment I'm fascinated with an anime, it is called ''Nanatsu no Taizai'' or ''The Seven Deadly Sins'', what translated to spanish means ''Los siete pecados capitales'', well, this anime treat about a kingdom that has a group of seven knights that protect it, but one day they are acussed of kill to an important knight of the kingdom so they end up separating, and after it the princess of the kingdom look for each one of they to save it, and well, during the anime happen a lot of more things.

I like read a lot, especially mangas and books, it because when a history is funny I can imagine all the things that happen in it, even I can imagine me into the history, but unfortunately the last days I haven't canned read, it because I have had to study and do a lot of things in the university that don't let me time to read; although

I don't think that read books and mangas is very important in my life, I just think that they are a very fun hobby, but the cartoons yes are, it because when I was child (and also now) they taught me a lot of things, they always left me lessons, as for example ''Beauty and The Beast'' taught me that the beauty of a person is not the most important and that the important are the feelings, because that a person be beautiful, it doesn't mean that is a good feelings person.

Actually my mother and I are watching chilean series, like ''Island Paradise'', ''Toy House'' and ''Mother'', and we especially like so much Toy house.

And talking about my friends, they always talk about series, animes and especially comics, and how I don't know so much about comics I just listen they, and when they talk about animes or cartoons I comment with they, is very funny talk about those topics with they.

Edward Elric, Fullmetal Alchemist

A anime that I also like so much is Fullmetal Alchemist, but I have talked about it yet. I hope one day travel to Japan to know in person the country where the mangas and animes are created (and also to eat their food, obviously)

My post graduate studies

I am not sure if I will take place in the grade, it because the grade has a maximum of 10 students enrolled and also the students have to know reading and interpreting scientific literature in english, and hopefully I know reading simple texts.

The true is that when someone talk me about the post graduate studies, I don't have any answer. When I was child I thought that when I finished the University, I would not have to study never more and when I got in the University, I thought that I would not need a post graduate study. But well, I can't leave blank this blog, so I looked some information, and I could say that maybe I would like study a post graduate in clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care.

I would like do this grade because I would like learn more about the actions that the pharmaceutical chemist can realize in the area of the healthcare.

According to I inquired, some topics that I would like study could be, infectious diseases, pharmacovigilance, pharmacokinetics, among others. If I would have the apportunity to study in another country, I would do it, but at the moment study in Chile is my most potential option.

I would make this grade when I be working, so maybe I could not always take in-person classes, so I would like take in-person and distance learning thus I could work and study without any complications.

My new job

Hi people, today I'm going to talk you about the work I want have.

Well, I'm not sure of what kind of work I really want, sometimes I would like work in a lab, and sometimes I would like work in the care area, but preferably I would like work in a lab, and obviously it is inside. I imagine me preparing or discovering medicines, or helping another people to do this. 

I'm not a person that travel so much, but I would like travel and discover another places, and if my work helps me to do this, better! Although I don't know if my work allows me travel.

Talk about the salary is some complicated because I don't know how many a lab worker earn, but if I had to estimate, I said that aroud of five hundred thousand Chilean pesos, but it could be more or minus.

I'm a Chemistry and Pharmacy first year student, and when I finish my career I hope can begin working in a lab. I don't know if I want to specialize me in a area of my career, maybe later, in some years I really decided it. 

Well, maybe in some years I prefered another work, or maybe not even finished my career, although I really want to finish it, also the pharmaceutical industry has many areas to work, so I have many options.

Microencapsulation

Well, today I'm going to talk you about a interesting topic, the Microencapsulation.

The microencapsulation is a procedure through who bioactive substances be introduced in an array to so avoid that it be losed or to protect it to reactions with another components, or also it be used on the controlled release of substances.

In my career, the microencapsulation has some relevance, because the main is mantain the active ingredient of the medication, who is possible thanks to it, also there is patients that need that their medications be released to slow rate.

I'm not sure why I chose it, I just thought that it is an interesting topic to treat, also this topic fill so much in my career and maybe inclusive someday I used it. So far don't have found future uses to this technique, but surely soon will be found more than one use.

I remember that I read about it when I was doing a paper for the university, at that time I dindn't explore so much about the topic, until now that I had to talk about it, so I searched more information.

Some advantages of the microencapsulation are that it can deliver like result final products with high performance, also the advanced aspects of the process give important advances to the industry, and some disadvantages are the high cost of processing, also that can be a potential risk to the health and the environment due to the use of solvents.
